1. What is Spanish with Jorge?

Spanish with Jorge is an online Spanish school on Skype.

2. How does Spanish work with Jorge?

You must first contact the teacher Jorge through the subscription form, in which you specify which course you would like to take, your schedule preferences and some personal data. The teacher will contact you through your email, and you will arrange the test class by Skype. This will serve to get to know you, to see how Spanish with Jorge works, assess your level and, if you like, set the hours of your lessons.

3. What is the test class?

There is the option in Spanish with Jorge to use the test class. For 20-30 minutes you will have a conversation with the teacher to assess your level of Spanish.

After the session:

a) You can assess if this form of learning is interesting and appropriate for you.

b) Spanish with Jorge will suggest which is the most appropriate course and level for you, according to your needs, skills and knowledge in Spanish.

4. How is a Spanish lesson online with Spanish with Jorge?

The day and at the scheduled time the teacher will call you by Skype, at that moment the class begins. The teacher will have a lesson prepared for you. During the activities the doubts that appear will be solved. Before finishing the class, the teacher will suggest the revision activities you must practice at home what you have learned in each lesson. You have the possibility of sending these duties to the teacher to correct them. Similarly, you can contact him if you have any questions to perform activities.

6. Do I need to use the webcam during the lesson?

It is advisable to turn on the webcam so that communication is more effective between student and teacher. On the other hand, body language is fundamental in communication. However, turning on the camera is optional and the student who does not wish to do so will be respected.

7. What language does the teacher speak during the lessons?

During the lessons the teacher will speak mainly Spanish. This will force you to use Spanish to communicate in a real way. However, should it be necessary for explanations of grammar or otherwise, the teacher could use English.

8. Opening Hours

The opening hours are from 9am to 2pm and from 4pm to 9pm.

9. Cancellation and payment policy

Lessons are always paid in advance (tuition fees are non-refundable). Lessons must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.
